Monday, November 24th, 2008HOW DO ROMANCE NOVELS SAVE MARRIAGES?
Tuesday, November 4th, 2008Do romance novels have anything to do to save the marriages from wreck?
Why marriages shatter and end into divorce? Why the phrase 'I love you' changes to 'I hate you'? Why the pinnacle of positive approach called 'love' is converted to all the negative vices at once like...?
The question is complex. But the answer isn't that intricate.
The duo gives absolute and incessant heed to the minor and negligible aspects of day to day life such as cleaning the refrigerator or putting nail polish. But, alas! The same 'lovers', in majority of cases, give least importance to care and save their marriages.
They have to prioritize or focus to the only mission, from the 'day one' to 'day to day' of the marriage: To keep their marriage alive, full of affection and exuberance.
Well, by negligence or indifference they dump 'intimate relationship', the main task of the married life in the dustbin. The ideas of the authors of romance novels can come to their assistance in restoring romance from recycle bin. From different novels, you can get various solutions of restorations, hidden between the lines of these fictions.
Generally, people do not read the books such as romantic stories or marriage manuals. As a result, they never understand the importance and for the entire life are deprived of the innumerable plays, postures and tactics to make marriage persist.
They talk and share the delicacies with good and honest friends, or seek professional counseling. But how can somebody approach or overture these benefactors every now and then? Best thing is to read and keep reading the passages from the romance novels to keep the romance alive.
If the survey is conducted to ascertain the cases of divorces, I strongly claim that the findings shall be lesser divorces in the spouses who are passionate readers of romance novels. And far lesser if both husbands and wives read the romance novels.
DOMAIN OF ROMANCE NOVELS

In the province of Love, there's a king who doesn't reign over the hoi polloi or the masses, but only on the heart of his queen.
And the queen rules over the heart of her king.
We read the sagas of the great sovereigns, from ancient times to date, who have created histories. They earned opulence, conquered and brought expansive territories under their dominion.
But our monarch may or may not be wealthy. He rules over small in size, (size of closed fist) but magnanimously vast empire called as Heart. In winning it, he neither goes to battle field, nor uses ammunition.
In some cases he gives in everything in order to conquer the heart. See the contradiction! An emperor, the lover in our case, while conquering the heart, gets surrendered, defeated. Yes! It looks funny. It is weird and bizarre. And hence is fascinating.
Something really strange, contradicts the common phenomenon, always catches the fancy of the people. And it overrides the volumes of historical books. That is why romance novels containing the stories of kings and queens ruling over the kingdom called 'heart' are loved by everyone.
The writing style of these romance novels might be illusive and full of improbable events involving characters those are different from usual populace. But the matter directly enters in the hearts of the readers. The readers try to equate themselves with the fairies or trolls, the paranormal characters to soothe their souls. And that is why people like or even crave to read romance novels.
